Madison Bell Energy Center
Upon completion, Navasota Energy’s Madison Bell Energy Center (MBEC) will be a 550MW natural gas combined-cycle facility located in Madison County, Texas. This strategic placement positions MBEC between the major load centers of Houston and Dallas. MBEC will help meet the growing energy and ancillary service needs of Texas while protecting our state’s natural environment by displacing less efficient natural gas steam generating facilities in ERCOT.
Construction of the Greenfield site will be initiated in winter of 2009.
